In the scriptures, Lord Shanidev is considered the god of justice. By worshipping Shani, all troubles are destroyed and the blessings of Lord Shani remain. Shani is also called the god of karma. Those who work hard, never lie, never hurt anyone, always have the blessings of Shanidev. Anyone can worship in the temple of Lord Shani – like men, women, old people, children etc. But women should follow these rules while worshiping.

  • While worshipping Shanidev, women should be careful and not touch his idol.

  • While performing the puja, women should not look into the eyes of Shanidev, as this may result in the evil eye of Shani.
  • A pregnant woman should neither worship Shani Dev nor go to the temple.
