At what time should we not pray
- According to the scriptures, one should not perform Puja in the afternoon. This time is considered prohibited for Puja, because the worship done at this time is not accepted by God. Therefore, one should not perform Puja from 12 noon to 3 pm. The Puja done at this time does not yield results.
- If you have performed Aarti, then do not perform the Puja ritual after this. It is believed that Aarti is performed at the end of the Puja and after this the gods and goddesses go to sleep.

Right time to worship
According to astrology, you can worship 5 times in a day. Timings have also been fixed for this in the scriptures. Following this timing, you can worship once, twice or five times a day as per your faith-
- First Puja Time- Brahma Muhurta from 04:30 am to 05:00 am
- Second Puja- till 09:00 am
- Midday Puja- till 12 noon
- Evening Puja- 04:30 PM to 6:00 PM
- Shayan puja – by 9:00 pm.
